Meet the team

At Staples Rodway we are anything but cookie cutter bean counters. It’s our people that set us apart. Get to know the people that make Staples Rodway tick.

Tara Dennehy

Tara joined the team early 2017 as our ‘HR Coordinator’ on a contract basis. A result of her hard work, commitment and passion for the job has seen her back at Staples as a permanent team member. Tara had previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications whilst studying at the University of Otago. Following this, she kicked off her career within a recruitment agency in Auckland before coming back to Taranaki to pursue her dreams further in the place she calls home.

Tara found her calling for the role through her passion for people, building relationships and helping others to succeed. Her experience in media and communications compliments her ability to present and communicate ideas on behalf of the HR team and when recruiting for clients. Working alongside a diverse team in an energetic and supportive environment, Tara says the best part about her work is that no two days are the same. She admires the hard work and commitment from her colleagues and with her post-graduate HRM studies underway – you can be sure to watch this space!

When Tara isn’t at work, you’ll see her spending time with family and friends, and making the most of what the Taranaki lifestyle has to offer – whether it be nature walks or dining in the city. Her passion for Taranaki is a great benefit when sourcing recruitment outside of the region - she enjoys sharing with others why she loves living in Taranaki, and why they will too!
